Natural Hemimorphite Cabochon

This rare zinc rich silicate mineral is famous for its unusual growth pattern. Opposite ends of the crystal develop completely differently. Pedion and pyramid.

This asymmetric property is known as hemimorphism and gives the stone its name, derived from the Greek words ‘hemi’ meaning half, and ‘morph’ meaning shape.

Healers view it as a powerful stone for the upper chakras, bridging emotional expression with higher spiritual awareness. Known commonly as the stone of empathy, said to reduce self blame while helping process and release grief, resentment and anger in healthy ways.
