Moonstone Choker

I loved making these chokers.

Designed to sit snuggly around the neck they remind me slightly of the intricate and infamous black chokers from the 90s, with a little more love, handmade quality and flair. When I wear these pieces I get many compliments and always feel just that little more edgy and empowered.

Moonstone, named for its ethereal glow reminiscent of the moon, is often associated with lunar energy, femininity, and intuition. A piece I’d consider to wear during moon phases where a little more love or care is needed.

Hard to capture in a photograph is the stones adularescence, a phenomenon that creates a soft, billowy light that appears to float across the surface. This optical effect is produced by light scattering within the stone and makes this piece extra stunning in person.
