Labradorite Choker

I loved making these chokers.

Designed to sit snuggly around the neck they remind me slightly of the intricate and infamous black chokers from the 90s, with a little more love, handmade quality and flair. When I wear these pieces I get many compliments and always feel just that little more edgy and empowered.

Labradorite is a fascinating gemstone renowned for its unique optical phenomena and rich symbolism. Referred to often as the dreamers stone it is closely associated with the third eye chakra, which governs intuition and insight. In Inuit mythology, it is said to contain the northern lights, and legends speak of its ability to reveal the hidden realms of the universe. It displays a spectrum of colour, typically blues, greens, golds, and even reds. This shimmering effect results from light reflecting off internal layers of the mineral.
